Weekend Fun!

On Friday I went skating for a few hours then went to Tom’s house for dinner (forgot to take a picture) where I enjoyed a lovely meal which was spicy beef and rice. This picture shows me doing a simple 50-50 grind where both trucks are on the edge.

My dad arrived from Lebanon where he works, after the dinner at Tom’s house and he believed that it would be nice to take a picture of me and him holding flat bread that he brought from Lebanon. He stayed for the weekend and left on the Monday.

Here is me skating yet again on Saturday. The reason that I am slightly crouched is because I am about to do a 360 flip where the board spins in a 360 degree motion and flips at the same time. It is one of my favourite tricks.

Later in the day, on Saturday, I was still skating and this is me ollieing over a small wall and then a small drop. I went home and rested after I did this because skating for roughly eight hours really aches your legs.

I relaxed infront of my computer talking to my friends and playing World of Warcraft. Perfect way to end the day.

On Sunday, i didn’t really do that much at all apart from wake up at one’o’clock, hang out with my dad and started to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. I ‘powned’ lots of noobs.

My dad was preparing a tasty barbecue consisting of shish taouk, a common Lebanese dish which is mainly chicken and other side dishes, that he brought from Lebanon. My dad is a great cook when it comes to barbecues.

Here is a picture of the grill where my dad will start cooking the chicken. Was looking forward to it due to my near starvation.

I like to spend time with my cats. The one on the left is called ‘Ugly’ because... well shes not ugly but when you look at her face directly she looks very bewildered which amuses me. The one on the right is ‘Dora’ as when she was small she was the first to go into all the rooms and explore all the corners of the house. Dora the Explorer would be too long to name a cat.

The food was finished and I rushed to the table to get some of the chicken. It was a great ending to the weekend.
